We have for auction an original 1970's era Smith & Wesson Model 6060 Folding hunter . This is a beautiful lock back style knife. Fabulous high quality knife! You don't see production cutlery like this today. The knife was designed by the famous knife maker Blackie Collins. T were seven knives in the original series. This is the only folding model of the original 7 knife series. This knife would date back to the early 1970's. Simply a beautiful knife! This knife has a 3 3/4" blade, and measures 7 7/8" in length overall when fully open. Craftsmanship is very nice, and well above what you would expect from production cutlery of this period. Mainly due to the fact that these knives were hand crafted. This knife appears as new showing no signs of actual use. It was owned by a collector who died in Missouri recently. The blade is as new and unsharpened. Please see the photos. The handles are made of "Wesson Wood" or laminated wood panels. This knife has a Stainless Steel blade. This knife has just a slight "Green" to the rivets and brass that would disappear with a light brass polish in a few seconds. If your a serious a collector of Smith & Wesson or just a hunter or outdoor enthusiast you'll certainly want this one for you're collection. Good luck bidding!
