If the rear tote was not cracked, and former owners initials stamped on side, this vintage Early Stanley Bedrock 4 1/2C would be fine condition. Underneath the dirt & grime, japaning appears to approx 90%+good. Please note that I do not clean planes which I do not keep in my collection, so this plane is sold EXACTLY as found so you clean, oil, tune or due whatever. Bed has the Apr 2 95 pat date, B casting under cap,7-24-88 date on lateral lever. No chips, cracks, pitting,or damage to casting(Except for initials which are light) Cutter is good. Front knob good.
