It's time for Granny's Teddy to visit a new home. He is a genuine Steiff with a steel button in his left ear. A center seam goes through his belly and back. His golden mohair color is beautiful, with lots of fur to keep him warm. His black boot button eyes are original. He has a pronounced muzzle with a stitched nose, mouth and matching black claws. The stitching on his nose is a faded brown/black. His head swivels and his elongated arms and legs are also jointed. The felt pads on his paws and feet are worn. The left paw has had an OLD leather repair. The right paw is original felt with a repair stitched in the center. There is a hump on his back. The stuffing is still plentiful and he sits upright on his own. The red ribbon is not original, but he has worn it for years. Based on research, we do believe him to be Pre-1910. Please help to correct me if you have further information. No returns as item is clearly described with details and photos.Shipping and insurance is FREE in the 48 United States.
