Welcoming in the New Year is our Early Primitive blanket and quilt crane. This is our original design and we showed them last year with great response from you so decided to bring it back for a limited time. This type of blanket quilt crane was used near or over the fireplace back in the early 1900's to dry their linens and hand-wrought quilts. They also dried their little girls' dresses and bonnets Hanging items to dry over the fireplace was a necessity then! The wonderful thing about our crane is that it can hang either left or right or out from the wall. Wouldn't your old quilt that was passed down from great grandma look so prim !. I am showing it with the log cabin quilt I am working on, adding on whenever I get the time. (I try to catch some time and t The one shown is carriage black and it measures 34" L and 17"H (backplate)If black is not your color, I will custom color from the following colors: Sandstone, barn red, oatmeal, old farmhouse blue, antique white, Old parchment, nutmeg or bergundy.Let me know at end of auction as I would like a little extra time to custom colorit for you. This is an awesome primitive colonial piece and definitely has a place in every prim home. Also hang your drieds on in your kitchen or old vintage linens in the bath. I think this would be awesome! If you have questions on this item, pls. e-mail me under question for seller and I will respond. Also pls. put the letters SPSG in search at top for more primitive work from some awesome artisans. We are a small group of Ebayers with a passion all things prim. Thank you to all our customers. We appreciate business..
