I am pleased to offer for sale this EARLY SWING HANDLE GATHERING BASKET WITH WOODEN BOTTOM. This basket is FRESH to the market. It is straight out of a VERMONT home. The basket measures 12" wide by 8 1/2" to the top of the rim by 16" to the top of the handle. The condition of the basket is in my opinion EXCELLENT. T are some broken splints which are mostly to the wrap around the rim. The handle is hand carved and held together with old round nails as shown in my pictures. The wooden bottom is also held on with old round nails.This is a VERY NICE early swing handle basket that would certainly be a FINE addition to any collection.
