Here you are bidding on this VERY RARE Early Tonka Toys Pressed Steel Ford Extended Bed Farm Stake Truck. I acquired this piece and other early toys and collectables from a recently settled estate. This piece dates from the mid 50's and is in Good ++ to Very Good original untouched condition - (Piece is missing (1) stake piece only) and totally Original. This 16-1/8" long Pressed Steel piece is very RARE to find in this strong untouched condition. The Toy Features: Original Black Rubber Wheels marked "Tonka Toys" with Original Tin Litho Hub Caps on Metal Axles - Original Red Paint is Strong (some play wear, chips/scratches and some paint loss on the bottom of both doors (restoration project??) - very Nice for the age of this toy) - Original Green Painted Body Side Stakes (various degrees of condition) - Original Tin Litho Front Front Grill, Bumper, and Headlights - Nice Original Decals - Working Bottom Lever Activated for Truck Bed removal - Very Clean Rear Truck Bed - Great Details and Lines. These early Tonka Toys Pressed Steel Pieces are getting harder and harder to find in this Nice untouched condition - This is a Fairly RARE piece in strong untouched condition (restore or leave alone??) - When will you see another?
