Offering for auction a Early Van Briggle Pottery Vase from the 1907-1912 Era. Probably closer to 1906-1907. I believe the vase is design number "325". It is marked on the bottom "Van Briggle CoLo. Spgs." with the Van Briggle AA logo. It also has a number on both sides of the AA logo. The bottom is obscured so they are hard to read. I believe they are the numbers "11" on the left side and "7" on the right side. It also has the letter "T" below th Colo. Spgs. I would guess the potters initials. I don't see a design number, but one could be t, and it can't be seen because the bottom is obscured. The form looks like design number 325, but I am not sure it is slightly shorter then what 325 should be. The flare at the bottom also seems a little different then design 325 and it has lines going around the vase again w it flares out at the bottom. It looks like a white clay with light green glaze with wonderful charcoaling decoration. It is approximately 5-1/8" tall by 3-1/2" wide at it's widest point. The vase is in very good condition! No cracks! No chips! No repairs! It has a tiny (1/16") factory glaze pop and some crazing. Rare potter's initials with rare charcoal over glaze! Very nice piece of pottery! Please see my photos.
