This old cleaver measures 16 1/2" overall with a 9" by 4 1/4" to 5 3/4" tall full tang blade.....weighs 3 3/4 Lbs. T is discoloration and light surface pitting, but it is still ready for many years of use with a sharpening. The handle looks to be Walnut and is attached with 4 steel pins. T he blade is stamped " VILLAGE BLACKSMITH....SOLID STEEL FORGED.....WATERTOWN,WIS....9 ". This looks to be a great collectible cleaver that could still deliver many years of usage......very solid piece. Thanks for looking.
