Please see the pictures below the description You are bidding on an early vintage valve radio that is being sold for spares, or possibly repair. I do not know anything about radios of this period, so I am unable to date it. The photos should give an idea of what components are in it - please contact me if you need any further information. It looks to be exactly as it was put away in a shed many years ago, which I am now clearing. From the amount of accumulated dust, it must have been in the shed for a very long time. General condition under the dirt seems good - it has a wood baseboard with a thin copper sheet on the underside - this is a bit battered. The components are screwed directly onto the wood board and the wiring is on the surface - a couple of the components have come loose. The front panel I think is paxolin - it has three tuning knobs, two with calibrated dials. The white inserts in the dials have crinkled up. As far as I can see, there is no make at all on it, however a lot of the components are marked 'Lissen' if this helps. It measures approximately 16" x 9" over the wood and the front panel is approximately 8" high. Unpacked weight is around 4.1/2 kg. UK mainland 48 hour carrier delivery will be by City Link. I welcome overseas bidders, but please be aware that because of its weight it will have to go by carrier, read more
