This is an early Craftsman hunting knife with bone handles that was made by Western. Western made many contract knives for various companies in the 1930s 1950s period. This knife is a good early one with beautiful color bone handles. The knife is in pretty good condition with no chips or cracks on the handles. Thewre are some minor rust spots on the blade. It is unusual in that both edges are very sharp, top and bottom. The blade is marked Craftsman Pat No 1967479 Made in USA. The over all lenght is nearly 9"s long and the blade is almost 5"s long. Typical tooled leather scabbard in good condition with working snap and all the stitches are A nic eghard to find Western contract knife. I accept Pay pal, money orders or will hold checks.
