You are bidding on this Early 1860's Antique Willcox & Gibbs Treadle Sewing Machine Complete ! In excellent original working condition and shape for it's age, It comes in a Tiger Oak Four Drawer Cabinet which is in excellent condition showing some expected scratches & wear from use and age. The machine works fine & shows expected signs of age and use but overall is in great condition as well. The cast iron scroll ornated WG design pedestal base is in great condition as the rest of the machine, needs a light cleaning and polishing. This sewing machine comes with two instruction manuals and some extra W & G original needles. The included accessories can be used for crank, treadle or electric units and are: a ruffler in box & instructions, a tucker in box & instructions, a seam guide, 3 hemmers, male & female thumb screws, metal oiler, wrench, screw driver and two other pieces that came along. The old original belt will be included but you need a new one. T are three different patent dates marked as follows: Dec. 15, 1857 on the wheel stop, Aug. 9, 1870 on the pedal, Aug. 9, 1869 on the base. The machine closed up measures 32"x30"18" and weights approximately 150 lbs. As you see it is complete, you don't need to get anything else!!!
