is a very early plane that has a different kind of way to mount the blade. You position the blade w you want it then tighten the screw at the end to hold it in place. It is sighned but I cannot make out the mark. I hope the pic does justice The plane measures approx. 9 1/4" long (without the wing nut). 3" tall and 1 1/2" wide across the bottom. It is bound with a magnetic steel that has not rusted. Perhaps stainless steel? Pat. Oct 1873. High bidder is to pay $7.00 for domestic Priority mail. Any questions please feel free to ask.
