This is a beautiful rare vintage piece from the early Kirks Folly collection of magical fantasy jewelry. I believe this piece was offered in the late eighties to early nineties and long retired. I also believe it is part of the Midsummers Eve collection. It is done in bright goldtone, vibrant enamelling and rainbow Aurora Borealis crystals. It is signed with the oval Kirks Folly signature id charm at the clasp and also on the back of the pendant. The chain measures 15-1/2" long with a 3-1/2" extender which brings it to a total of 19". It is finished with a small glossy iridescent rose pearl. The chain is lined with the most incredible faceted mint green cylinders and pink faceted crystals. This is the last one I have to offer. This piece incorporates the most beautiful soft colors of mint green and rose. The pendant is quite large, measuring a little under 4" long including the dangling crystals. T is a large fancy decorative filigree crescent moon with enamelled flowers, pink crystal star, Aurora Borealis crystal stars and a dragonfly at the top, her wings are studded with crystals and her body has a rose flower in the center! Lying in the center of the moon is a cherub or angel, her wings are enamelled in rose and yellow and she holds the large pink crystal star in her hands. Hanging from the moon are 7 chains of faceted crystals, rose pearls and gold stars. At the base of the chain t are two large faceted citrine colored crystals with fancy caps. I think this is one of the prettiest of the early pieces in color and detail. It will come in a large peach and gold Kirks Folly gift box.
