We are glad to offer this very rare political globe from 1960's.The globe was made in eastern Germany -GDR.Very interesting item, owing to the "glimpse" of history it gives. As you can imagine, the political map of the world was different 40 years ago.All of the names and inscriptions are in German.The wooden base and the plastic globe are in a good condition (the globe is spinning properly), t are some worn spots on the paper covering due to age. Measures: 6.5" height, measured from the wooden base to the metal projecting part from the north pole. Diameter 5"; scale - 1:160 000 000
