This auction is for one handmade, lampwork borosilicate WINE STOPPER made by a Pacific Northwest artist . This stopper is about 1 1/2 inch wide, 2 1/4 inches tall. This vivid piece features a top of bright GOLD and FUSHIA dichroic glass and vivid colored glass under layers of clear glass magnifying the action inside. Deep plum with shiny creamy silver green colored glass bumps makes a bold base. A few bubbles are along for the ride, adding sparkle and interest. This stopper makes a great, decorative closure for many types of bottles. The laboritory grade rubber is dishwasher safe and provides a good seal. Sorry about the glare and the fingerprints. Take this one into the sunshine to charge it up! Dichroic glass is a challenge to photograph and the colors in this piece are even more vivid and shimmering than the photos capture. All my work is made by hand in the flame of a torch and kiln annealed for strength and durability. Shipping within the US is $3.00 per item with additional items adding just $.50 each (paid and shipped together within a week). Insurance is optional, but recommended at $1.35 for up to $50.00 value, $2.30 up to $100.00 value. I accept PayPal, money orders, and personal checks (items will ship when check clears).
