In various shades of brown and cream, this early mocha decorated yellow ware jug has a looping earthworm pattern that circles the entire piece. At appropriate intervals in between t are clusters of 3 cat's eyes in the same colors. On top (and below) of that t is also banding. It has a nicely applied handle and a shaped spout and measures just over 7 1/2" tall. Unmarked except for an owners mark on the bottom. It is in exceptional condition. No cracks or hairlines or chips. T is a flaw on the handle in the making along with a couple glaze pops. The bottom shows wear from being slid along. A nice even glaze and a flared base. The inside is equally clean. No Reserve. We are listing this fine old mocha jug or pitcher with no reserve. This is the last piece we will be listing for several weeks. We should begin again in late September or early October. Buyer to include shipping and insurance with payment within 10 days of auction close. Money Orders only please.
