For auction is a lot of five East German Marksmanship (Schutzenschnur) badges. The badges were awarded to NVA soldiers that qualified on their weapon. These badges are from the following East German military services: 1 - Infantry 1 - Artillery 1 - Motorized Infantry 1 - Grenztruppen (Border Guards) 1 - Marine (blue cord) The Schutzenschnur is a German shooting tradition that dates back to the 1800s.
