Easter Rooster and Hens Eat Dinner! Vintage German Tablecloth Hi!! Welcome friends!! This auction is for one of the cutest rooster and hen tablecloths that you will ever find. This cute tablecloth features a rooster and 2 hens having dinner. T are also daisies and blue flowers. This wonderful tablecloth has a white scalloped edge. T is only minor flaw. I can only see one very light yellow spot along the edge. But this flaw is hard to find. This tablecloth meausures 33" by 32 3/4". This tablecloth is such a cutie. This tablecloth is not only cute, but it is very symbolic. I love the symbolic meaning of the rooster. In Germany, it is a very important part of their culture. That is why tablecloths with roosters are very desired. The rooster is noted for crowing three times after Peter denied Christ. As such, it became a symbol for Christ’s passion. Have you ever noticed that weathervanes feature roosters and are often seen atop churches? This is commonly done because the rooster is keeping watchful vigilance against evil. Not only is this tablecloth beautiful in appearance, it is also quite beautiful in symbolism. It will instantly put a smile on your face. This is just precious.
