is a beautiful set of flatware. T are a total of forty three pieces including serving pieces. This is Easterling (Gorham)'s American Classic pattern and the set consists of the following: 6 dinner knives almost nine inches long, the tops are stainless steel 2.5 oz ea for a total weight of 15 oz. 6 salad forks about 6.5 inches long, weight is 1.5 oz each for a total weight of 9 oz. 6 dinner forks 7 1/8 inches long, combined weight is 10 oz. 12 spoons not quite 6 inches long, combined weight is 11 oz. 6 soup spoons 6.25 inches long, combined weight is 8 oz. Small serving spoon 7" long, 1.5 oz. Curved top jelly spoon 6.25" long, 1 oz. 7" Butter knife 1 oz. 6.25" sugar spoon 1 oz. 6" pickle fork 1 0z. 8" serving fork 2.5 oz. 8" serving spoon 2.5 oz.So, the total weight is 63.5 oz or roughly four pounds. The condition is very good with only a few light scratches from wear. I don't see any major damage to call and t are no monograms, as you can see. The original box is included and it's in very good condition as well. Also included are some paper items including two of the original invoices from 1950, and other paper as shown. Also included is a plastic container with two polishing cloths in it. I can tell you for a fact that those cloths do a great job on this silver set! Altogether this is a great set and one that you will cherish. And with the price of sterling still going up, it's also a great investment! Thanks for taking a look and sorry about the glare in some of the photos, I guess I did a good job with those polishing cloths! This set is marked "sterling" and is, of course, sterling silver. I forgot to put that in my title and description!
