Shipping/Packaging/Materials We offer Greyhound Package Express as a substantially cheaper alternative to the high cost of crate and freight services that will charge exorbitant freight fees. Shipping via Greyhound Package Express means your package is shipped to a Greyhound terminal in your area. You are notified and you must go in and pick up your package. To locate the terminal nearest you call . If you do not wish for your item to be shipped via Greyhound we are glad to accomodate your preference of shipping at your expense. Size permitting we may opt to ship via Fed-ex to your door. * Alaska, Hawaii and far West areas may require additional shipping charges due to the area. We package with only insurance approved professional packaging supplies. Your furniture purchase is first wrapped with long distance bubble wrap for protection. Second we place your item in a custom made 275 # double wall high burst strength test cardboard long distance shipping carton specifically made for that item. Third and finally we pack the circumference of your purchase with styrofoam and or styrofoam bl ocking creating a wall of protection between your item and the outside environment. Insurance / Tracking / Claims Insurance is your obligation to take out, we include the cost option in our invoicing. You must upon arrival of your shipment inspect your merchandise at the terminal and report any damage immediately first to a supervisor or if not available an attendant for claims inspection purposes. A claims examination should be done promptly and curtiously on sight. This is your right under the law. Do not accept the item if damaged! Finally notify us immediately so we can assist. If you take your purchase home uninspected from the terminal and open it to find any damage then any insurance claims for damage or loss are to be handled by the buyer directly with that carrier. We are happy to assist you throughout the claims process. Notify us immediately! Auction terms All items are inspected, photographed and security marked before shipping. We describe as thoroughly and accurately as possible. If t is a concern or question regarding any aspect of an item(s), please inquire before bidding. We do not accept returns due to buyer's remorse or unreasonable complaints. Since these items are antique or vintage, unless otherwise stated as new or pristine, you're advised that these items have age and character ware.
