A wonderful gift for the space enthusiast: John Glenn: A Memoir . Easton Press 1999 First Edition, personally signed by John Glenn . One of only 3500 copies.In original sealed wrap. 9.5" x 6.5" x 1.75".This biography of John Glenn, the first man to orbit the earth, covers not only his storied career as a NASA astronaut but also his childhood in Ohio, his time as a Marine fighter pilot in WWII, his years as a United States Senator, and his amazing flight on the Discovery space shuttle in 1998, at the age of 77.As is always the case with Easton Press, the quality is superb:Premium leather Silk moire endleaves Hubbed spine accented in 22kt gold Gilded page edges Silk page marker Acid-neutral paper We have moved several times in the past few years and we are still looking for the original Easton Press paperwork that accompanied this book. I'm sure it's in some file in some box in storage and we most likely will never find it. Since we can't find that and the book is sealed, we do not know the edition number of this book.The ex Libris bookplate for your own personal use is included (it is not attached to the book in any way).We also have the Easton Press Apollo: Alan Bean limited edition, still sealed, and I will definitely try to find that paperwork before listing it so please check back.This is a Buy It Now listing; no need to wait
