Circa 1890 Cologne / Perfume advertising trade card folder: EAU DE COLOGNE - COLOGNE O / RHINE ESTABLISHED A.D. 1709, THE MOST ANCIENT MANUFACTURER OF EAU DE COLOGNE. ( Cologne on the Rhine, Germany). The fancy stylized script appears to advertise the local retailer & appears to read: JOHANNE MARIAE FARINA, GEGENUBERDEM ZULUHS - PLATZ. Opens to 2 stone litho'd illustrations picturing the fabulous storefront (one bldg. sign advertises JOHN MARIA FARINA) & the Retail Shops interior salesroom. (see additional scans) Back cover is headed NOTES & contains 10 unused blank lines probably intended for the customer to note their favorite fragrances while in the shop. Litho'd on card stock, measures 3 1/2" X 11" open. VG+ condition
