master size horn with four lines of text that read Ebenezer/French/His Horn June ye/28th 1760. Entire body is covered with highly detailed map of Hudson River and branching streams with New York at end, many other towns and forts along waterways, one line of 6 marching British soldiers and second line of three in fire fight with lone Frenchman hiding behind tree, large British Royal crest, step carved spout with double raised rings, flat spruce/fir plug end with wrought iron bar for strap, all with fine old mellow patina, total length 18` and diameter at plug 3.75`.
