(JW) This copy of TALES FROM THE CRYPT #46, dated March, 1955 was published by the Entertaining Comics Group. This book comes from the collection of long-time EC fan, collector and historian JERRY WEIST. Jerry passed away in January of 2011 and I am selling his EC COMICS, SCIENCE FICTION and COMIC FANZINE collection and MONSTER MAGAZINES on behalf of his estate. Be sure to keep an eye out every week for my other eBay auctions as we continue to sell COMIC BOOKS, EC COVER PROOFS, EISNER SPIRIT SECTIONS and VAULT KEEPER and DRUSILLA original art every week from the collection of Johnny Craig.This is the last issue of TALES FROM THE CRYPT with a dynamic horrific cover by JACK DAVIS. Next week we start the HAUNT OF FEAR run on eBay. Overstreet Guide says this book had low distribution. I'm calling this issue a VERY GOOD + condition based on the OVERSTREET STANDARDS of grading. This issue lies nice and flat with original staples holding everything tight. No creases or tears. There is a little bit of color flaking apparent along spine area, but not too bad. Age discoloration is apparent on inside covers.
