These TWO WONDERFUL EKCO FLINT STAINLESS VANADIUM SERRATED EDGE KNIVES were made in the USA with WOOD HANDLES Both feature serrated edge stainless steel blades with brown wood handles--one is definitely a bread knife...not sure about the function of the other. The bread knife measures approximately 14" long with a 9 1/4" bladeand the other is 13 3/8" long with a 8 1/8" blade. Both are in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION (SEE PHOTOS) ! "Edward Katzinger founded a commercial baking-pan company in Chicago in 1888 that eventually became known as Ekco Housewares Co. By the 1960s, it was the country's largest manufacturer of non-electric kitchen items. Ekco knife and carving sets date from the late 1940s and were made with wood or Bakelite handles.
