My husband is down sizing his commitment to the model airplane hobby and has agreed to let me and the kids have the money from the disposal of his MOUNTAIN of model airplane magazines and some of his "Never going to get around to that one" engines and other stuff. Here is a sampling of what is to come as we begin to excavate the MOUNTAIN. This auction is for a low run time and well looked after ED Racer 2.46 cc diesel engine. It turns free with very good piston fit and has no cosmetic issues. There are NO witness marks on the mount lugs, but believe it has been bench run. It is, we believe, possibly an engine that has been assembled from spare parts. A Good friend, Adrian Duncan, suggests it has an early style head and mag backplate, with a later polished aluminum case and the anodizing on the thrust washer and spinner have been polished off. Ready for your display shelf or fuel and fly.Great engine for vintage control line or Free Flight competition or just fun sport flying.
