EDGAR BUCHANAN Hand Signed Photo - Autograph 1969 RARE Provenance: original envelope postmarked May 20 1969 This listing is for a Hand-signed Photograph from the late Edgar Buchanan . Edgar played in numerous television shows like Petticoat Junction, Green Acres, the Beverly Hillbillies, Hopalong Cassidy, Leave it to Beavy, and Judge Roy Bean. He also appeared in tons of movies like Penny Serenade, Tomstone, Cheaper by the Dozen, McLintock!, and Benji. This photo was signed in 1969.This is a rare inscribed photograph that is highly valuable. We guarantee it's authenticity - winning bidders will be allowed up to 14 days for authentication testing. We have successfully sold numerous high value autographs from this collection and had no problems with authenticity (including an original Alfred Hitchcock sketch that sold for over $700). We know to stay away from most autographs because of rampant forgery and fraud, so we only work with collections that present provenance with the items - see History, below for details. Auction Inventory & Provenance One hand-signed photograph of Edgar Buchanan. This photo measures 10" tall and 8" wide. The photo is in excellent condition. It is signed on the top left and bottom right of the picture , "To Tsa Best Wishes, Edgar Buchanan." One envelope from Edgar Buchanan to "Tsa ...", postmarked May 20, 1969. History We purchased an entire collection of autographs from an estate auction and are selling them individually. As stated above, we normally stay away from autographed items because of fraud and forgery so we would only purchase collections that contain original unique provenance. In this case, the entire collection was sold to us with letters and envelopes along with the autographed photographs that provide us with proof or authentification - provenance. The lady who owned this collection used to write to all of the stars in the 1960s and early 1970s and maintained the collection in their original envelopes, etc. Please watch our auctions as we will sell over 100 autographed photos from this collection and another 20 autographs from the estate of a person who worked at Longchamps Riverboat restaurant at the bottom of the Empire State Building in the 1960s.
