Be sure to add me to your favorites list ! Check out my other items ! BEAUTIFUL 11" SQUARE HANDMADE PORCELAIN BOWL EDGECOMB POTTERY Edgecomb Pottery is designed and produced in Edgecomb, Maine. They handcraft beautiful porcelain dinnerware, serving pieces, and art with an astounding array of glazes and colors. Have never seen any glazes as lovely and rich as those produced by Edgecomb Potters. Rand McNally recently named Edgecomb Potters as one the "Best of the Road" attractions, a distinction shared by only 28 recipients nationwide. This square bowl has been gently used but shows no signs of wear. Edgecomb Potters is inscribed on the bottom of the bowl but it is not possible to get a picture of it because it is etched into the pottery. The bowl is 11"sq and 4" high. It has a very wide flare and is perfect for serving food and also stands on it own as a beautiful piece of art. It looks great in both contemporary and traditional settings. The crystalline glaze is in wonderful shades of blues, greens and sometimes what looks like a touch of gold. Together the colors work to create a pale teal effect. The sides of the bowl have the lightest colors - mostly pale blue and blue-green. T his is a great match with the 4 smaller bowls we also have for sale - same shape, and glaze but much smaller . Used together, the large bowl and the 4 smaller bowls have a somewhat contemporary look CHECK THEM OUT! Check them out!
