Edgerrin James MASTERPIECE Jersey Auto Patch Card Lot Description MASTERPIECE CARDS! Rarities From Fleer! 78 Card Lot PLEASE READ THIS LISTING BEFORE YOU BID. These are unusual items and tremendously valuable! Single cards have never sold for less than $6 per card for semi-stars on up to $300 per for bigger names. 's a chance to get them at a HUGE discount in one sweet lot! Undoubtedly, you are bidding on a lot of the rarest trading cards ever created for this fantastic athlete. The story behind these cards is as interesting as the opportunity for collectors and investors. In 2005, Fleer Trading Cards declared bankruptcy and their remaining assets were sold at auction. Among the amazing offerings were a treasure trove of collectibles that Fleer had kept for itself. It appears that one of every card that was ever made by Fleer, at least for the last five years or so, was stored in a vault of some sort at the company. These 'file copy' cards are exactly like the jersey cards and autos that would hit packs except for some major differences that make them truly unique, one-of-a-kind collectibles that collectors of any particular star will be sure to want to add to their collections. Most lots have cards from across the Fleer world; EX, Ink, Inscribed, Ultra, Genuine, Flair, Skybox, Hot Prospects, Throwbacks, Sweet Sigs, Snapshot, Patchworks, and more. Check out all the parallels! If the card was a jersey, dual jersey or auto the actual piece of memorabilia was NEVER affixed to the card. Instead, most of these gems have an empty space w the jersey or auto is on the common card found in packs. They are not individually numbered but the lack of the usual numbering, jersey, or auto, as well as their origin direct from Fleer's own auction clearly makes them infinitely unique... and likely one of a kind. A small percentage of these cards have a double and some lots may contain a percentage of dupes. Check the scan(s) to see how much. What you have for sale in this auction is a lot of cards never meant for public release. Had it not been for the bankruptcy these gems would still be sitting in Fleer's Vault. By the way, they can be graded by Beckett (BGS) and Global (GAI) among others. Please note once again that the cards DO NOT have the jersey or autograph on them. White spaces on the cards are simply spaces. Cards are generally in near mint or better condition. *** We're going to list just about every player from football and basketball over the coming weeks.
