The First American Edition , corrected and Improved by the addition of numerous articles relative to the Institution of the American Continent, its Geography, Biography, Civil, and National History, and to Various Discoveries in Science and the Arts, Volumes V, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, (six volumes); Philadelphia, Joseph and Edward Parker , 1832; Small Quarto, 24 x 27 cm; Volumes are ex-library; usual treatments and artifacts present. Half leather with marbeld boards. Covers show considerable wear. In most cases, boards are hanging by their cords. Textblock are square and upright. Moderate to heavy foxing throughout. All volumes have approximately twenty plates per book. These showcase detailed images of science and technology. Some plates are detached, some may be missing. Questions?
