Edison 2/4 Min Home Cylinder Phonograph in Beautiful Green Case This is a beautiful 100% original Edison Home Model A Cylinder phonograph in a beautiful green oak case. This phonograph is known as the âeoeLong Box Homeâe as it is the earliest version of the banner cased home. This early version has the separate long bed plate and mechanism similar to the âeoeSuitcaseâe Home. This phonograph has a 2 and 4 minute conversion making it much more desirable than one that plays only 2 minute cylinders. It comes with a model âeoeHâe reproducer that plays the more popular 4 minute cylinders. This Home model runs perfectly and the bedplate is in great condition with a lot of shine to it. The decal is almost mint and all parts work as they should, so it will look and sound great. The motor is all original and has been properly maintained and best of all it comes with its original early slotted crank. The cabinet finish is original and is slightly lighter than some I have seen and looks to have been sitting near a window. Take a good look at the many photos I included, so that you can see for yourself the condition/color of this machine, which color looks just like the photos. The back right corner has separated very slightly as you can see in the photos. I will double box this to insure that it arrives without any damage. Winning bidder pays shipping. Best of Luck. Note: I can have this delivered for FREE to the phonograph show in Union (near Chicago)
