This year marks our 12th year on EBAY ! Thanks to all our great customers who have left us over 1,700 100% POSITIVE Feedbacks! This week we are running an assortment unusual PHONOGRAPH and other interesting items .. CHECK OUR OTHER AUCTIONS! we have an original Edison GEM phonograph model "D" c. 1908. Known as the "red" Gem when Edison finally decided to use something other than black to paint the GEMS! This one plays strong and loud on both 2 & 4 minute setting (a new mainspring was recently installed). You see the original paint of the horn and body. T is some nicks and sratches in the paint but is overall very presentable. Comes with an ORIGINAL model "K" brass top (many were pot metal) and plays loud on both 2 and 4 minute styli. The crane is a fine reproduction but the horn is an original 2 piece horn marked FIRESIDE (which is correct). The horn paint is original but is typically well worn. It has the original decal on the horn. It comes with no lid, but many Gem lids turn up on ebay.Serial # 320902D. We include a few cylinders and a reprint of the owners manual.
