Hi t ~~ this little 12 inch doll is made from the Edith Flack Ackley book "Dolls to Make for Fun and Profit". I found this Kaufman screen print "Florentine" and it inspired me to make this cute little Asian girl. She also wears white cotton pantelettes trimmed with lace, red tights, and I used black felted wool for her shoes. Her shoes are sewn together with gold metal Kreinik thread imported from Japan, and have a moss green ribbon bow at the ankle. I made her hair with black shetland wool and it is adorned with a little red ribbon rosette. Sewn with lots of detailed stitches this little efa doll will make a wonderful addition to your heirloom collection. Signed and dated 2007, she is sure to bring a smile to your face. Thanks so much for looking! ; )
