11/4802-1 EDOUARD CORTES (1882-1969) PARIS STREET SCENE. Oil on canvas, signed 18` x 21.5` $15,000/$20,000 Condition: Overall condition is very good. Painting has not been relined recently, however, the painting has been cleaned. Evidence of very light buckling, but none that would have an effect on the texture, pigmentation or overall presentation of the painting. Three minor chips to bottom left, most likely due to rubbing against frame. No evidence of in-painting. Pinhole puncture mark to lower left center of the painting, about three-quarters of an inch to the left of man`s head. No numbers on the back of the painting. Very beautiful piece.
