Antique Edward F. Caldwell & Co. Mantel Clock. The company based in New York, produced high quality metalwork between 1895 to the 1930's. This particular mantel clock has a variegated black marble base, that does have a few minor chips on the edges. The clock itself is supported by two gilt-bronzed lions. It has a hinged glass door, with one small scratch on the glass. The clock has black Roman numerals over an ivory colored background. W the key turn is located, t is a small chip out of the outer layer. The top portion of the clock displays the EDW. F. CALDWELL & CO., NEW YORK. It is in working condition and with key. Located on the back of the clock is the number 0574R or 6574R, it's hard to tell if the first number is a 0 or 6. I will ship the mantel clock to the specifications of the winning bidder. We are in the process of building a small crate to support the weight of the clock. It weighs approximately 20 pounds. The length is 17 1/2", height is 8 1/2" and the width is 3 3/4". I reccomend and will insure the clock at the Buyer's expense. Antique Edward F. Caldwell & Co. Mantel Clock. The company based in New York, produced high quality metalwork between 1895 to the 1930's.
