Up for auction is this estate fresh oil on wooden panel by the well listed American Impressionist artist Edward R. Sitzman (1874-1949). This is a desirable winter scene densely packed with overlapping tree limbs, blowing snow at twilight. The painting is 20"x24" and is set in the original frame; beautiful impasto, rich color this is a wonderful example of Sitzman's work. Signed lower right and stamped on the reverse. Typical light cracking in paint of oil paint on wood, no unstable paint, could be cleaned if desired but is attractive as it is now. Free shipping in USA. Thanks and enjoy!!Posted with eBay Mobile
