This auction is for a very pleasing example of a 1551 Edward VI Halfcrown. Mintmark "Y". Perfectly centered and well-struck, nicely toned. Strong obverse with clear, full date; bold reverse. Unobtrusive rim ding at 9 o'clock obverse, small rim pinch at 6 o'clock, both mentioned for accuracy, but neither detracts. A nice one! This coin has been in my collection and out of numismatic circulation for decades. I am offering it now at auction to support my retirement plans. It is guaranteed genuine, and the coin pictured is the coin you will receive, but in all other respects it is offered as is and no return, so bid only if you want to own this lovely coin.
