This auction is for an antique (dated 1904) and fine Sterling silver and cut clear crystal covered jar / bottle from Birmingham, England. Jar measures 3 7/8" in height x 1 7/8" in diameter. Cut crystal jar sports a Sterling silver neck ring and a finely pierced and floral embossed frame. Cut-crystal ball stopper sports a very fine faceted design. Marked with the following English Silver marks: Birmingham Anchor, Lion Passant, date letter e and maker's mark HH &S. Condition is very good, sports no areas of unsightly damage or repairs to silver frame or glass jar; just light surface scratches and tarnish commensurate with age and gentle use (please note this item is 100+ years old and fragile by nature, so crystal vessel and top may show a couple flea-bite sized nicks / chips commensurate with age and gentle use). Offered for a low opening bid and no reserve. Thank you.
