Here for auction is a wonderful and extremely pretty Edwardian Armoire. This high quality Armoire is of a very opulent design, with a gorgeous carved arched pediment to the top. Made of solid Mahogany which is very thick and heavy, showing the high quality of this beautiful Armoire. With a single door with beautiful oval mirror to the front, the mirror is in excellent condition. The handle to the door is exceptionally pretty and opulent, made of ornate cut glass and brass. Inside are several shelves and single drawer to the centre. The interior, shelves and drawer are also constructed from very thick and solid Mahogany. The shelves are removeable if required. The central drawer section is fixed. There is a long brass hanging rail for shorter items to be hung if required. To the base is a large single drawer with pretty original brass handles. Standing on elegant bracket shaped supports . The condition is excellent, with expected signs of use but very minimal for the age of the wardrobe. Very solid, sturdy and strong.
