Edwardian Satinwood Astragal Glazed Corner Cupboard ca 1900 This beautiful Edwardian satinwood hanging corner cupboard has a moulded cornice with dentil moulding above an astragal glazed door with key and working lock. The sides are canted and the edges have boxwood stringing. The interior has three fixed shelves lined in a deep red crushed velvet. The piece stands on a moulded plinth, has original backboards and the cornice is possibly a replacement. The piece is a dark satinwood colour, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
