EDWARDIAN Silver LARGE CRUET SET CASED Sheff 1909 347g (silver only) 11.17 TROY OZ Superb large set of 7 pieces solid silver cruet set with 5 solid silver matching condiment spoons Comprising: Four open salts , two pepperettes and one lidded mustard pot in a delightful trophy vase style with raised bases and three handles .Completing the set are five condiment spoons all by the same maker. Hallmarked on every piece for Sheffield 1909 date letter gothic r. Makers mark is GM in a shield All have the Bristol blue liners with no chips or cracks There are no dents or splits to the silver.They are in fantastic condition for their age.Very, very light surface marks from use and there is no tarnish in the pepperettes. No engravings A truly lovely large set to be used and enjoyed! Case is in very good condition for age with light scuffs but all hinges and clasp work perfectly well Pepperettes measure 8cms tall Open salts are 5cms tall and 6 ½ cms wide inc handle Mustard pot is 7cms tall All silver pieces without the liners weigh approx 347.4g inc spoons SPECIAL DELIVERY ONLY POSTAGE Because of Royal Mail policy that valuables such as silver items are not covered for compensation for loss etc with Recorded Delivery,.I wish to ensure their safe guaranteed arrival to the winning bidder so I will only post by Special Delivery& this will give peace of mind to you and us. I have only put a token amount on top of their actual weight postage charge to cover cost of packaging.
