EE 4018 (DB 800 B) Marklin HORed Schienenbus Beiwagen Railbus Triebwagen 4018-2 This Marklin HO scale 4018 (DB 800 B) non-powered railbus triebwagen is being offered by Eckert Engineering ; we are a premier company specializing in the older and collectible Marklin Märklin Maerklin HO model trains from Germany. This is a non-powered supplemental car to go with the 3016 (DB 800 K) for increased passenger capacity. The full sized prototype was the non powered German Federal Railways 995. It was either pushed or pulled by the diesel powered 795 (VT95). Details about this triebwagen: · This non-powered triebwagen is for the famous Marklin 3-rail AC operating system; i.e., it has a “third rail” slider to power the light. · The 4018 (DB 800 B) was produced from 1955 thru 1992 Details about this specific piece: · Shell is red (not dark red); it does not have the DB signet. · Text road numbers on left side is: DB 800 B · Text road numbers on right side is: MӒRKLIN 142 070 Stuttgt · Couplers are unique to 3016 and 4018 Schienenbus (BK22) · No wheels are driven; this is a trailer to be pushed or pulled by the 3016. · This is Kolls version 4018.2; manufactured 1959 thru 1962.
