U. S. Army Signal CorpsEE-91 TELEPHONECoast Artillery This telephone is an original wall mount telephone in a steel box. It was designed to replace the EE-71 telephone. Primarily used in the Coastal Defenses Group. It is a Common Battery telephone meant to be used with Central Office energy systems, in Bunkers or Spotter's areas and others w a permanent wall mounted telephone can be installed. I have opened and wiped out the inside and verified the components and lightly oiled the magneto. I have also tested the phone on a common battery system with an EE-8 Field Telephone at the other end.The EE-91 cranks smoothly and rings the bell at the other end. The EE-8 also rings the bell inside the EE-91 very loudly. The Handset is a TS-9 with an excellent Cord CC-333, no cracks and very flexible. I spoke and listened through the handset in both directions and the EE-91 talks up clearly.It even comes with the original crank GC-11. It spins off the magneto shaft easily and can be stored on the left side's clip. The telephone has some surface rust, but is 100% functional! Order No. from 1942. This is a heavy unit so I'll work with you on shipping to save money. USPS, Ground FedEX, Ground UPS. I insist on insurance, and I will pack it carefully so I cannot use the Flat Rate Boxes, they are too small for proper padding. I am estimating $22 will
