LOT 20Seller's Estimate: USD 3,500 - 5,500Museum exhibited Egyptian collection of a variety of stone amulets (approx 35) of jasper, carnelian porphyry, amethyst, feldspar, serpentine etc. amulets include wedjat, frog, baboon, heart, lotus seed & scarab strung together with tiny garnet beads. DATE: 1300- 800 BCE SIZE: 17"long (43cm) amulets 1/2" to 1/4" (1 - 0.5 cm) CONDITION: Excellent, except 1 amethyst bird chipped missing lower half otherwise no other repairs, major chips, cracks EXHIBITED: Metropolitan Museum NY 1920-38 , Boston Fine Art 1945-60 #212.45 Museum of Man CA 1968 .
