Incredible and Rare, perhaps a one of a kind 19th C. Bronze Chandelier, most probably 2nd Empire but conceivably 1st. Originally a gas chandelier and later with an electric conversion during 20th century. Belongs to a Palm Beach estate, I have original photos in an Architectural Digest where it hung over the large Dining Room. It has a 5 foot drop and is approximately 5 feet wide when assembled. It has been mounted as a piece of art onto a fabric covered plywood. There is also a 6 foot gold leaf frame made specifically for the piece. It makes an impressive piece of art as opposed to hanging as a chandelier and easier to resell to anyone who doesn't have 12 to 14 foot ceilings. If reassembled, it will require some work.During Bonhams last Egyptian Revival Sale chandeliers that paled in comparison to this sold for as high as $18,000.This is being listed at $14,000. or best offer. This will have to be crated and shipped. If full payment is made, the costs will be paid by the seller. If a less figure is agreed upon, the shipping will have to be discussed further. This will have to travel by truck. Very Heavy.
