Beautiful Whiting & Davis necklace from 1976-1978. May have been Produced to commerate the 1976-78 US tour of King Tut artifacts. The cameo is a beautiful turquoise resin cast in the image of Cleopatra. Has two hang tags that say "Whiting & Davis Co. Mesh Bags". Chain measures 23-1/2" Overall Length. Pendant is 2" x 1-1/2" approx. The companion piece to this is listed in Julia C. Carroll's "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" on page 476. In as is condition with some light surface wear. No verdigris.
