This model should be of interest for any serious collectors of American sports car models or Corvair die cast model cars. This model is the 1/28th scale EIDAI GRIP Japan produced die cast model Corvair Monza GT normal type ref. 1600 no. 41 and is the blue version despite the packaging referring to this car as a CORVAIA and showing a red car . The model has been on display behind glass in a smoke free environment for the past number of years years and is in good original condition . The original packaging shows some slight scuffing and corner damage caused during storage and this can also be seen in the photo. I have changed direction in my collecting of larger scale die cast sports/racing cars and will be selling off a fair number of the 300+ die-cast toys, kits and models that I have accumulated from around the world over the past 30 years, so I will be listing some interesting examples of other sports/racing cars that are either out of production or may not have been easily available in the UK.
