This auction is for eight (8) 1965 and 1970 Frontier Times magazines, with Joe Small, Publisher. They are: Feb.-March. 1965 (Vol. 39, No. 2); April-May 1965 (Vol. 39, No. 3); June-July 1965 (Vol. 39, No. 4); Aug.-Sept . 1965 (Vol. 39, No. 5); Oct.-Nov. 1965 (Vol. 39, No. 6) Dec. -Jan. 1970 (Vol. 44, No. 1); Feb.-March 1970 (Vol. 44, No. 2); April-May, 1970 (Vol. 44, No. 3). These, along with the True West and Old West magazines, were published in Austin, Texas and were all true and factual stories about the real west. The Frontier Times magazines were published bi-monthly. Some well-known authorities and authors on western history and lore contributed articles, including Fred Gipson, Maurice Kildare, Dr. W. W. Newcomb, Milt Hinkle, Leon C. Metz, William (Bill) Mahan, Eve Ball, and more.
