Here's eight (8) yellow footed ice tea glasses which were made by the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia. This is Fostoria's Blank 2977, called "Virginia"; it was introduced in 1978 and discontinued in 1986. However, these were only made in this yellow color (which Fostoria called 'Sun Gold") in 1985 and 1986. The glasses are about 6-7/8" tall, and about 3-7/16" across the mouth (the hexagonal foot is about 2-11/16" across). They hold about 14 ounces of liquid when filled to the brim, so 'functional capacity' is probably more like 11-12 ounces. All four of the glasses are in nice shape with no chips, nicks, fleabites or cloudiness (which can be a problem with later-model color Fostoria, I've found). Nice functional glasses, pretty color, nice classical blank, and they need a new home. Any questions, feel free to email. Thanks for looking, and be sure to check out my other auctions!
