Up for auction is a little collection of photos and menus that feature Eisenhood's Restaurant in Santa Rosa California, 1940s-50s. In the lot are two menus - a breakfast menu that measures 7.75" x 11.75" with a full breakfast including juice for just a dollar! The second menu that lists breakfast, lunch and dinner. Note a top sirlion dinner at $2.00 is the priciest meal. The menus are probably from the 1950s, considering the prices. The 7 different photos show a variety of interior and exterior views, including several of men who possibly were from the Eisenhood family (?) (or owners?) attending to guests or posing for publicity photos. Neat views of the outside diners on the sidewalk appears to be from the late 1930s as the fashions might indicate (this photo is creased). Others show waitresses in starched uniforms, kids dressed up sitting at the fountain counter, cool neon signs pointing to the cocktail lounge, neat vintage autos parked in front. Apparently Eisenhood's was one of the places to be seen, as it hosted the Rotary, Lions and Kiwanis clubs. Two amusing photos show a woman with an arm in a sling, and a man with an arm in a sling, admiring a roasted pig. The central figures wear some great vintage ties. Unfortunately, no notations or names are provided. Two of the photos are mounted on poster board, separately. The menus read more
